Privacy Policy

inpayar (“we”, “us”) provides order, inventory and payment management software for shops in Myanmar. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and what choices you have. It covers our website, our seller web app and our Android app.

Information we collect

From shop owners and staff

• Name, username, phone number, and email address where provided
• A securely hashed password — we never store your password itself
• Shop details: shop name, address, city, contact number, payment accounts
• Your activity in the app, such as orders and inventory you create or change

From shoppers who buy from a shop

• Phone number, used to sign in and to contact you about your order
• Delivery addresses you save
• Order history, payment confirmations and any screenshots you upload
• If you sign in with Facebook or Google, your name and profile picture from that account. We never receive your password for those services.
• If you link Telegram to receive verification codes, the Telegram chat identifier needed to deliver them.

Customer records entered by shops

Shops using inpayar store details about their own customers — names, phone numbers and delivery addresses. That information belongs to the shop. We store and protect it on the shop’s behalf and do not use it for our own purposes.

Automatically collected

• Basic technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, recorded in server logs and used for security, rate limiting and diagnosing faults
• Anonymous usage statistics through Google Analytics, to understand which features are used
• If you enable notifications, a push subscription identifier from your browser or device

How we use it

• To operate the service: accounts, orders, inventory, payments, delivery
• To verify who you are when you sign in, including one-time codes by SMS or Telegram
• To send notifications you have asked for, such as new order alerts
• To keep the service secure — detecting abuse, preventing fraud, limiting request floods
• To fix problems and improve the product

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Services we rely on

We share only what each service needs to do its job:

• Google Firebase — phone number verification and social sign-in
• Telegram — delivering verification codes to people who have linked it
• Google Analytics — anonymous usage statistics
• Our hosting provider — running the servers that store your data

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Order and payment records may be kept longer where a shop needs them for its own business or accounting purposes. When you ask us to delete an account, we remove or anonymise the personal information associated with it, except where we are required to retain it.

Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Passwords are stored using one-way hashing and cannot be read by us or recovered. Access to production systems is restricted. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take these responsibilities seriously and act quickly on any problem we find.

Your choices

• You can view and update your profile details in the app at any time
• You can turn notifications off in your browser or device settings
• You can ask for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by contacting us
• If a shop holds information about you as its customer, contact that shop directly — we will help them act on your request

Children

inpayar is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you in the app where the change is significant.
